Come on, that really will work from home?

On Wall Street firms where this pilot fish works, no one group of IT has gotten a raise in two years, the bonuses are flat or down, and - of course - the workload has steadily increased as more and more people walking out the door.

"When the management of IT office announced they were moving to White Plains, an hour north, many of us felt like it was the last straw," says fish.

"But that's not the last straw The last straw is that our brilliant HR department has decided to launch a 'work from home" program .. "

Wait, what's wrong with working from home? Well ...

First, fish and co-workers will have to complete a form-work-from-home pre, detailing what they accomplish.

And during their time working from home, they are expected to be more accessible than they would if they were in the office - and more productive, too.

And when they returned to the office, every employee work-from-home will need to review the list of tasks to the manager to see if he had achieved everything he said he would.

And to actually encourage the use of program-from-home work, employees must first complete an eight-hour training session - for IT workers must be accessible and productive as usual, of course.

"Policy-from-home job being applied for the IT group whose members usually get a lot of so-called times a week 22:00 to 5:00," grumbled the fish. "Is the so-called off-hours is considered 'working from home'? I think not.

"What about the 'work of my child's birthday party' and 'work of my sister's wedding' and 'work from my family vacation? Come to think, I have been working from home all the time I was with this company, and I've been able to do it without the help of our HR department.

"I think tonight, when the center of my data calls at 3 am, I'll tell them, 'Excuse me, but I have yet to fill out my pre-work-from-home form, and if I had, I would not. Has placed a phone call Your on my itemized list Good evening, and thank you for calling .. '"
